Bonnie Daneker is the author of the new book, Stoplights Are for Kissing.

Her latest work, a collection of small, intimate gestures was created to keep the spark of love and romantic relationships alive. To gather content for her Stoplights Are for Kissing movement, Bonnie interviewed dozens of couples on what lights up their long-term relationships. She includes experiences from her own 20 years of marriage, and from her parents and in-laws, each together for 50 years plus.

A lifelong learner and writer, Bonnie has been part of the publishing industry for more than 20 years. She established Georgia’s first publishing advisory firm, Write Advisors, to help clients write books and has managed over 100 book-content projects as a publisher and book coach.

Bonnie’s love of writing started early, earning her first byline at age 14. She received her BA in Journalism from The Ohio State University and an MBA in Strategic Planning and Entrepreneurship at The Goizueta Business School at Emory University. Bonnie has also taught at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and original artwork from the book was illustrated by Eevie Lanier, also from SCAD.

Currently based outside Dallas, TX, Bonnie has called many places home, including Atlanta, Cleveland, Columbus, Chicago, St. Louis, and New York. Ever the explorer, she delights in nature, innovation, and travel. As a volunteer, Bonnie has worked with literacy programs, food banks and church councils for congregational care. She also wields a mean torch in the metalsmithing studio as a jewelry designer.

Other books Bonnie has written/co-written include: The Compassionate Caregiver™ series; CLIMB: Leading Women in Technology Share Their Journeys to Success; It’s in There! (the story of Prego® spaghetti sauce); and One Man’s Quest To Keep You Safe.

Bonnie can be reached through email, her Facebook, or on LinkedIn.
